New Site Ratings? - Phaze Forums

I just noticed numbers assigned to websites on Phaze now..Am I correct to assume these are site rankings? (1)-(5)..If so, Im just curious as to the criteria you use to rank sites and how in the future we may earn higher ratings. Thanx

Yes these are the new ratings :) It's not 100% complete yet but I plan for it to be within 1-2 days.

Sites rated 3 or higher are NOT cached.
All downloads are sorted by rating from high to low.

Sites are rated from 1 - 5 based upon:
* number of dead downloads submitted daily
* quality of submission titles
* placement and number of links/buttons/banners to phazeddl
* neatness of pages and limited ads

Things to improve rating:
* submit titles properly
* do not submit dead downloads
* add phazeddl banners AND links or buttons to phazemp3 & phazeporn
* submit into proper category

Sites can request a better rating once the system is complete. Until then, all requests will be ignored. I will keep you updated.

Thanks for the quick reply and info PhaZe..not at all surprised that the criteria are fair,simple and sensible. Props to you and your team..We're proud to be a (3) and will do our best to earn (4).

Ombre, Please delete the post made by Mardor, its nothing related to Site ratings. Looking forward for its completion PhaZe :) . Its sure gonna improve the quality of downloads __________________

My avira does not block my site but I can tell you its very common that a site that has any keygens in it can return a false positive..what I can assure you is that we dont have anything intentionally harmful installed on our site..we dont even have ads or popups or anything..but rest assured that we will thoroughly investigate this and I thank you for bringing it to my attention

This looks like a nice update for Phaze,i have been submitting now to Phaze since my site opened.. i am just curious how sites are ranked? my site Realwarez,has almost 5000 links indexed on phazeddl,but are listed as (1)? i believe all our submissions are clean and submit daily

nothing is ranked yet. sites will be ranked upon request (ONCE FINISHED) ... should have this done today __________________
