How do I get full versions of games, not trials

Hi there!
I am very new to all of this and don't really know what I am doing but am learning as I go along.
I was downloading some casual games like Diner Dash and Dream Chronicles. They said they were 'full' versions, but when I opened the file they end up having a 'trial period' screen saying 60 minutes left.
I am really confused. Can I download full games or are there only the trials? If someone could tell me how to do that, I'd be very appreciative. Thanks so much!

can you give us the pages you downloaded them from? This way we can let you know if there is something to fix it.

Hi Shiz! I can't find the Dream Chronicles link, but here is the link I used for Diner dash. Do you see what I mean about the trial period thing? Are these games all trial versions or are they supposed to be the full versions? Thanks for your help.

Thanks. I'm on Dial-up and my ISP knocks me off after 4 hours at a time, so anything over 75,000 kb I just can't do. Is there a way to download it in parts, or do I have to find file sizes under that? Thanks for helping!

you can always download it on dialup, you just need a proper download software that can resume downloads. there are a few out there but firefox has one built in.

as for the download that you mentioned, do you see the folder "crack"?
it has a file in it called launch.

just put that file in the same folder you installed the game into and then double click it. that should fix it. just use that launch file to start the game once its in there.

u should start by buying the game, if u don't want 2 pay 5 it. then just crack it...

Thanks. I did see the 'crack' file and I put it in the same folder as the game. I got to the 'launch' option, and when I opened that, instead of the game starting, my computer screen went black the way it does when a game is first coming on and that annoying message from microsoft saying "microsoft has encountered a problem and must close" came up and closed out the game that was trying to open.

I am going to try downloading a different game and trying that same process you taught me with that one and see what happens. I don't know why my computer did that. Do you guys know what may be causing my computer to do that? I checked with Norton and it didn't detect and viruses or spyware, so I'm not sure.

I will download new game tomorrow, try the process, and get back to you. Thanks for all of your help!

Sounds like a video compatibility issue, or maybe a memory problem...

I downloaded a game last night, but it doesn't have a crack file so I am going to do a redo with a different file and try to open it. Will return...
